I am currently employed as a broker at a reinsurance brokerage in Minneapolis. I assume you may not know what reinsurance is, lucky you. Insurance for insurance companies. The work is somewhat similar to other financial services roles, and I enjoy it because I get to work alongside impressive finance professionals across the country and internationally (most of whom are in Bermuda, at least that's where they say they are).
Besides trying to nearly work myself to death most of the time, I try to find some time to do activities that I find enjoyable (mostly to appease my doctor). These include playing and watching sports such as basketball and football, reading various self-development books that trick me into thinking I am being productive with my time, and spending time with family and friends.
